Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By using VoxLingo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What VoxLingo is
VoxLingo helps singers learn pronunciation by converting lyrics into IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) transcriptions with audio playback. Transcriptions are AI-generated and validated where possible. Accuracy may vary.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit content you do not have the right to use
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service
- Use the service to generate harmful or unlawful content
4. Intellectual property
The VoxLingo application, design, and code are owned by Natalia Filipiak. You retain all rights to content you submit. You are granted a non-exclusive licence to use generated outputs for personal or professional use.
5. Plans and pricing
Free plan
- 5 transcriptions
- Library access (account required)
Pro plan
- £25/year, billed annually
- Unlimited transcriptions and storage
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Charges will appear as Lemon Squeezy.
6. Payment and renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically each year unless cancelled before renewal. By purchasing, you:
- Authorise Lemon Squeezy to charge your payment method
- Agree that the service begins immediately
- Acknowledge that this may affect your statutory cancellation rights
7. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. No partial refunds are issued except where required by law or under the refund policy below.
8. Refunds
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
9. Data and account deletion
To request deletion of your account, contact us at hello@voxlingo.net or use the contact form. We will action verified requests within 30 days.
When your account is deleted:
- Your data is permanently deleted
- Your email is retained in a suppression list for fraud prevention and account integrity (see our Privacy Policy for details)
10. Service discontinuation
If VoxLingo is discontinued:
- At least 30 days' notice will be provided
- Users can export their data during this period
- Active subscriptions will be refunded pro-rata
11. Accuracy
VoxLingo uses AI and external sources such as Wiktionary. Accuracy varies by language and word coverage. Users should verify outputs where necessary.
12. Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Natalia Filipiak is not liable for losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot be excluded under law
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
